Rev. Rajan Maymana Philip had his early education in Kerala and his Theological studies in Southern Asia Bible College, Bangalore, from where he graduated with a Bachelor's in Theology. For the next few years, he taught in Bethel Bible School in Punalur, Kerala, while being actively involved in the Lord's ministry, travelling to remote places in the unreached areas of Kerala

In September 1976, he married Molly, and together they migrated to the United States in August of 1978. On reaching the United States, he pursued his education at The New York Institute of Business and Touro College, New York Graduating in 1984 with a BS in Business Administration.

Until the end of 1985, Pastor Rajan and his family attended Ebenezer Full Gospel Assembly in Yonkers, NY. As God's Plan for his life began to unfold, he and his family moved to Rockland County in December 1985. He joined the ministry at International Christian Church in New Jersey for a short period of time. 

In 1988, with God's help and guidance, he planted Grace Assembly of God, a church primarily serving the Indian community. He has continued the pastoral ministry with the church for the past 25 years.

Rev. Rajan Philip is an ordained minister of the Assemblies of God. His vision for lost souls and longing to share the gospel with unreached people grounds took him to different parts of India and Africa. In the numerous trips abroad, he shared the gospel and helped plant new churches, where none existed. With a burden to develop the next generation of leaders, he also finds time to teach at the Nyack Branch of the Assemblies of God Bible Institute. Together with his wife Molly, he continues to serve the Lord, with great enthusiasm, much love, and dedication. Their five children - Linzy, Jiby, Liju, Rachel, and Jomy - are all happily married and they serve the Lord in different capacities in the areas they have been placed.
